However, it is important to get the most amount of information you’ll need about the accident and the relevant parties involved, it is important to collect the following information and facts about the event of the accident:

• Registration Plate:Take note of the Registration plate of the vehicle or vehicles involved.
• Insurance:Ask for the insurance details of the third party driver involved. If they refuse to give details, then they can be reported to the police.
• Photographs:try to take as many photographs of the accident and your injuries sustained, as pictures will help with your case.
• Medical:keep details (time/dates) of any medical (General Practitioner/Hospital) appointments, physiotherapy sessions and all medical records you have taken due to the injuries sustained in the accident.
• Police:if the accident was reported to the police and they attended the scene of the accident then note down the reference/log number that the police reference for the scene of the accident and event.
